contains internal carotid and common carotid arteries + 10th Cranial Vagus Nerve

Spaces of Face & Jaw
vestibular of maxilla, vestibular of mandible, canine + buccal, parotid + masticator, body of mandible, submental/sublingual/submandibular
Vestibular Space of Maxilla
between oral mucosa of max molars and buccinator muscle
Vestibular Space of the Mandible
between oral mucosa of mand molars and buccinator muscle
Canine + Buccal Spaces
superior/lateral to max canines | between buccinator and masseter muscles
Space of the Body of the Mandible
contains inferior alveolar nerve, artery, vein + branches and mental + incisive branches
Submental Space
between mandibular symphysis and hyoid - contains submental lymph nodes and anterior jugular veins
Submandibular Space
lateral and posterior to submental - contains submandibular lymph noes and submandibular salivary gland and some of the facial artery
Sublingual Space
contains sublingual salivary glands/ducts, some lingual nerve and hypoglossal nerve
Fistula
abscess usually associated w/ mand 1st molar
