1
Q

What happens in each phase

A

G1: growth and normal cellular functions, preparation for replication of DNA.
Synthase: DNA replication.
G2:Cell continues to grow, produces more organelles, proteins, and membranes in preparation for division.

Q

What is the order of events for cell cycle regulation.

A
  1. Growth factors are released
  2. Cyclin levels increase
  3. Cyclin complexes form activate CDk
  4. CDK activates the next phase.
