  • Stop WTG – Put to service mode selector key - level 4
  • Turn “SAFETY STOP MODE NACELLE BYPASSED” key switch to ‘1’ (Operating mode selector system)
(Re-establishes 400VAC to operate hydraulic pump)
  • Lock Rotor
  • Turn hub service switch to “SERVICE” position
  • Lamp on hub service switch will flash if the pressure is above 5 bar. Light constant when at 5 bar
  • WTG controller automatically activates the systems to pitch the blades (88 degrees).
  • Enter the hub and close all 3 ball valves on each pitch block

A

In the SROT (Safety Regulations for Operators and Technicians) Section 7, you can find the limitations for different tasks and what the max wind speed is for those tasks.
- Hub work – 15m/s (up-wind) otherwise 7m/s
Hub in Y pos. – 10m/s
- Nacelle work – 20m/s
- Yaw work – 15m/s
- On-top of Nacelle in helihoist – 20m/s
- On-top of Nacelle out of helihoist – 15m/s
- Tower work – 20m/s
