Explain stage 1 of becoming a knight
A
A boy becomes a page at the age of seven, he would be sent to live with the family of the lord. This is called fostering

A
He becomes a squire at the age of 14. The boy began to fight on horseback

Stage 3
A
He becomes a knight at the age of 21. He took part in the ceremony of dubbing. He swore the oath of chivalry. The oath of chivalry is to stay loyal to his lord and protect the poor and weak and be brave in battle.
