anti-muscarinic
Licensed in ADULTS and CHILDREN for the treatment if urinary incontinence
S/E: diarrhoea AND constipation
dry eye + abdominal discomfort
glaucoma + nightmares
transdermal use - back pain, hot flush, injury and inc risk of infection
counselling - patches applied ev 3-4 days, avoid using same area for 7 days
reviews - adult: at 3-6 mths til stable and then ev 6-12 mths
kids: soon after starting, effect seen after 6 mths
