Some people attended an exhibition. 242 of them were men, 5/8 of the remaining people were woman and the rest children.2/9 of the people who attended the exhibition were children. Find the number of people who attended the exhibition.

Jodrell had some marbles. 62 of them were purple, 22 of them were yellow and 2/3 of his remaining marbles were red. The rest of the marbles were grey. The grey marbles made up 2/9 of the total number of marbles he had at first. How many more yellow marbles than red ones had Jodrell? (I myself am confused while writing this :D)
