10 – 13 Threats to School Safety

Question 1

• PC notify OIC and supervisory officer when conducting an Investigation on school premises
• PC notifies Communications Operator what if any schools should consider Lock Down, Hold and Secure and/or Shelter in Place
  School Lock Down
• PC request Communications Operator to notify OIC and TPOC
• PC to notify school principal when incident has concluded so school can resume normal operations
  Attending Lockdown, Hold and Secure or Shelter in Place
• Upon conclusion of incident Incident Commander notify Communications Supervisor
• Communications Supervisor notifies OIC, TPOC and EM&PO
• Communications Supervisor to notify all identified schools where police recommend Lockdown, Hold and Secure, or Shelter in Place
