Q

What will affect Vertical Velocity? At what point does this external acceleration be decelerating the vertical velocity, equal the velocity and accelerate the velocity?

A

Gravitational acceleration (+-9.8 m/s) This acceleration decellerates the vertical velocity during the first half of its parabola path, it will equal (cancel out) the vertical velocity at exactly halfway and accelerate the vertical velocity downwards pass this point.
