An Organism made up of cells with a nucleus, membrane bound organelles and large ribosomes
Plasma membrane
Regulates movement of substances into and out of the cell.
Has cell receptors to respond to chemicals

Supports plant cells
Nucleus
Controls cell activities.
DNA holds instructions to make protien.
Pores allow substances to move between cytoplasm.
Nuclear envolope
Surrounds nucleus
Contains Pores to allow substances to pass from nucleus to membrane
Nucleolus
Creates Ribosomes
Lysosome
Contains digestive enzymes
Used to break down cells, worn out cells and digest invading cells

Site where proteins are made
Rough Endoplasmic Reticulum
(RER)
Folds and processes protiens made by ribosomes
Smooth Endoplasmic Reticulum
(SER)
Synthesises and produces lipids
Vesicle
Transports substances in and out of cell and between organelles
Some formed by golgi apparatus or Endoplasmic Reticulum, others at cell surface
Mitochondrion
Site of Aeorobic respiration, ATP is produced
Found in very large groups
Very active
Chloroplast
Site where photosynthesis occurs
Photosynthesis in Stroma l, other in grana
Centriole
Involved in separation of chromosomes during cell division
Cilia
Microtubules contract to make cilia move.
Movement used to move substances along cell surface
