How the Agricultural Revolution led to the Industrial Revolution

A

Agricultural Revolution helped create new and efficient farming processes, such as enclosures, crop rotations, and selective breeding. This allowed Britain’s population to grow, pushing out smaller farmers to look for industrial jobs. Needed new and efficient inventions to supply the demand for products and new jobs, resulting in industrial revolution.

Describe the positives and negatives of the Industrial Revolution.

A

Positives:

  • Various new inventions were made, such as the spinning mule, lightbulb, telephone, etc
  • increased wealth, production, manufacturing, and the overall standard of living

negatives:

  • dangerous working conditions
  • very little pay
  • terrible living conditions
  • child labor
  • body parts were cut up by machinery
  • risked life threatening diseases
  • increased pollution
