  1. Chlamydia trachomatis (commonest).

2. Mycoplasma genitalium (more symptomatic than Chalmydia).

A
  1. Asymptomatic.
  2. Similar to Chlamydia.
  3. URETHRITIS.

A
  1. NAAT.
  2. 1st Line : 1st Urine Sample in Morning (Men) and Vaginal Swabs (Self-Taken : Women).
  3. Check positive samples for Macrolide Resistance.

  1. Doxycycline 100mg BD for 7 Days + Azithromycin 1g STAT and then 500mg OD for 2 Days.
  2. Moxifloxacin - Alternative/Complicated Infections.
