Weight is the product of the forces acting on an object.

Yes, weight can change.
What is mass?
Mass is fixed, it is the measure of the stuff the object is made of.
To change from grams to kilograms what do we do?
To change from grams to kilograms we divide by 1000.
To change mass in kilograms to weight in neutons what do we do?
We multiply the mass by 10.
Why do we use 10 on Earth?
We use 10 on Earth because it is the force of gravity 10N/kg
What is the force of gravity on Jupiter?
26N/kg
What is weight measured in?
Neutons (N)
What is mass measured in?
Kilograms (kg)
When forces acting on an object are in the same axis, what do we call them?
Co-planar.
When are forces balanced?
When co-planar forces are equal in size but opposite in direction.
When are forces unbalanced?
When the forces are not the same size or co-planar.
