  • War is banned and that only God should be able to give and take life from people. This is because of the belief of the sanctity of Life and the fact that God created all life, therefore only he should take it away
  • Also a quote from the Old Testament states, “All who live by the sword, will die by the sword” - this indicates that everyone who kills sill face the judgement of God
  • Another beleif is that if you are fighting for a just cause, God will protect you and be on your side in the fight against justice. This is seen when the Israelites go to war to defend the holy land and God is believed to be on their side
