BLame - War guilt clause(article 231), Germans disagreed, prerequisite for the other terms, Diktat, kaiser had already been punished

• Reparations - Germans already suffering from blockade(food=starvation), £6.6B(1921-1984), Explain hyperinflation and consequences.
• Army - state terms, Army pride, unemployment(2 million soldiers pre-ww1 out of work with manufacturers of equipment, etc)
• Territory - Loss pride, overseas colonies, 13% population, 6 million lost for Germany == no more tax, Manufacturing losses(Saar). Useful in reparation payments.
