A

for depression all are generic (tertiary amines)

SIlenor is for insomnia

19
Q

Pamelor

A

Nortriptyline (secondary amine)

20
Q

TCA Side effects

A

Cardiotoxicity - QT prolongation with overdose (monitor for suicidal ideation can quickly lead to fatal arrhythmias), orthostasis
Anticholinergic - dry mouth, blurred vision, urinary retention, constipation, weight gain, risk of falls

21
Q

Wellbutrin SR, Wellbutrin XL

A

23
Q

Bupropion Side effects

A

Dry mouth, CNS stimulation (insomnia, restlessness), tremors/seizures (dose-related), weight loss
Sexual dysfunction is rare
