Juliet young immature does not understand what she wants and feels hence rushes the relationship
she proposes because she fears being married to anyone other than Romeo
SHe believes she’s in love and her way to formally recgnixe their love for eachother is marriage, which contradicts her parents’ reason for marriage being wealth and status.

Mercutios approval for Romeo to go to the ball was one of ROmeo’s deciding factors that led him to the party, where he met Juliet.
Mercutio should of known better as Romeos wingman then to encourage the emotionally transparent, impulsive and vulnerable romeo to attend a capulet party to find a suitable women.

“Gentle Mercutio, put thy rapier up”(1.3.84)-Romeo
romeo Warns Mercutio, mercutio dismisses.
Mercutio is at fault for provoking the fight.
It was because of Mercutios death that Romeo killed tybalt out of vengeance and anger,
which led to his banishment and the tradgey of romeo and juliet.
