Serum amylase (3X upper limit of normal) 
Serum LIPASE (more sensitive and specific and longer-half life which is helpful in delayed presentations)

Imaging: Ultrasound however, diagnosis may be made clinically if symptoms w/ 3X normal amylase/lipase
