Q

What is the formula for calibrating a projector?

19
Q

Other than formula what can be used to calibrate a projector and how is it done?

A

“a chart bracket”
( a piece of paper that you can get from the equipment manufacturer)
first measure RF in feet, then take the chart bracket and hold on the silver screen, a second person is at the projector moving the projector tube in and out to change the size of the 20/200 letter and to change the focus of it. If RF is 16’ your 20/200 letter should be the size of the preprinted E. If RF is 14’ yours 20/200 should be the size of the bracket just above the number 14
