How did the New Jersey plan work and how many houses were needed?
Each state would get 1 vote no matter the size of the population and there was 1 house
What is a compromise?
a settlement where one side agrees with another side to give up some of their demands
What was the Great Compromise?
a legislature with a lower and upper house
What is the lower house called and how are the state officials elected?
The House of Representatives would be based off state population.
What is the upper house called and how are the state officials elected?
The Senate would have two officials per state regardless of population.
