What is urban migration?
The migration of people from a rural area to a city or large town.
What did the Hunn report say in terms of urban migration of Māori?

What was the process towards this major increase of urban migration?
Māori enlisted in WW2 and fought for Nz. This made the government appreciate the Māori population more. This meant they were more welcomed in urban centers and given better facilities and help.

Where urban centers inclusive to Māori migrates?
No, they were given poor housing, were first to be made redundant, places in moral living environments (assimilation)

The Māori populations gravitated towards each other without a community even if they were physically distanced.

The reluctance Māori had against the assimilation. (Racism)
