What is a pathogen
A disease-causing micro-organism
Bacteria
A type of pathogen that produces toxins that damages body cells
Virus
A type of pathogen that uses a host cell to replicate before bursting out and destroying cells

A type of pathogen that digests living cells to destroy them whilst producing toxins
