What are the roles of the Church Buildings
A
- Place of worship
- For Catholics it is where the mass will take place
- Place for personal prayer
- Place where the community believers are joined together - the body of Christ

A
Face east - represents resurrection
Usually designed as either :
- a cross for the symbol of Christianity
- a circle representing community and eternity
Have high ceilings - symbolises Gods greatness
Stained glass windows - show images from the Bible
