Commandments from God found in the Torah
Part of the covenant at Sinai
Judged by god - on the basis of whether they follow to mitzvots
By following mitzvots it strengthens the relationship with god

They were given from god
Some of the mitzvots are outdated
They are the basis of the Jewish faith
Reformed Jews - don’t follow them all - use their free will to choose
By following mitzvots - allows the messiah to come sooner
