Common carotid would branch into left and right internal cartotid.
Internal goes to the brain and external goes towards the face (supplies blood)

Anterior- midial and superior part of the frontal lobe
Middle- lateral surface of the temporal lobe (passes through the lateral fissure)
Posterior- inferior surface of the occipital (occipital pole)
What is the function of the arterial circle of willis?
To provide alternative routes for blood flow if arteries becomes blocked or stenosed
