A
  • The maximum dose varies depending on the product
  • The maximum dose can vary between patients therefore you must check and confirm MH (metabolism health) prior administrating LA
  • metabolism of LA = primarily done by liver
  • hence if liver not working at 100%, then greater risk of reaching toxic blood levels
  • The dose needs to be adjusted in:
  • Children /elderly
  • Patients with liver/ kidney disease
