Q

Confirmation/ Disconfirmation Theory

A
  • to measure the consumers satisfaction

consumer has an expectation in the beginning (Event, Individual, Others like Environment)

After the event:
1. Expectation is met  Confirmation (good to recruit again)
2. Positive Disinformation  Enthusiasm (very good to recruit again)
3. Negative Disconfirmation  Dissatisfaction (difficult to recruit again)

 The lower the expectations the higher the likability for positive Disconfirmation!

Note:
the satisfaction is highly dependent on individual characteristica like emotions, intellectual property, culture etc.
