Q

What are two problems of the postulate of adequacy?

A

Its too strong;

o Too strict that everything needs to be understandable. Sometimes technical jargon is needed.
o It precludes for creating new discoveries.

But also too weak;
o If people understand the theory, doesn’t mean they agree with it. They bring their own common-sense perspective.
