What is the difference between intensive farming and free range farming?

- Free range farming is more ethical than intensive farming which has poorer animal welfare
- Free range farming requires more land
- Free range farming is more labour intensive however free range farms can be sold at a higher price
- animals have a better quality of life than in intensive farming
- Intensive farming often creates conditions of poor animal welfare but is often more cost effective and more profitable as costs are low.
