A mix of open and closed questions collecting quantitative and qualitative data.

•Generate quantitative data
•Can be analysed by descriptive statistics
•Restrictive as forced choice options

What is a Semantic differential scale?
Measuring people’s reactions to stimulus words or concepts using opposite scales(two opposing adjectives)
What is a tick list?
Where the participant selects all the applicable answers
What is a select the answer most app?
Choose the answer closest to them
What is a likert scale?
A given statement and asked wether you agree or disagree to the statement
What are rating scales and attitude scales?
The respondent indicates a rating for each item given.
What are two strength of closed questions?
1)Produce quantitative data
2)Objective data that cannot be misinterpreted
What are two weakness of a closed question?
1)Limited answer-low insight
2)Forced to choose certain options

•Invite participant to answer in any way they want
