MDT: Minor injury to the tooth stucture without abnormal loosening or displacement of tooth
Concussion
MDT: Traumatic injury that results in varying degrees, loose in socket
Subluxation
Tx: for Subluxation
Gentle manipulation of the tooth to tooth into position
Splint
MDT: traumatic injury where the tooth has been removed from the socket; immediate action.
Avulsion
Tx: Avulsion for reimplant and unsuccessful reimplantation
Rinse w/ saline. DO not scrub
Nerve block
Tooth into socket
decrease by 1% every minute
Unsuccessful re-implantation - place in an isotonic solution
> milk
> Hank’s solution
> saline
> saliva
Mininal time for handling 30-1hr

smoothing the edges and improving appearance
Tx: Dentin fracture (sensitivity to cold, air and water)

are not visible; the tooth may be mobile
Referral urgent
