- As the English moved into the Ohio River Valley, the French got mad and built outposts at entry spots. They wanted to protect the fur trade
- George Washington attacked a French outpost, lost badly. Some other shit went down
- England officially declared war on France in 1756. Indians allied with France
- War dragged on for years, England finally gained upper hand and won

Sons of liberty dumped about 10,000 dollars worth of tea into the Boston Harbor, in response to the British granting the East India Company a monopoly on tea trade and creating a new tax on tea. The actions that followed led to the revolution

Britain’s response to the Boston Tea Party. Closed the Boston Harbor until the tea was re-paid for. Tightened English control in general. Colonists believed that their days of freedom were over.
