Explain Mucinous Cystic Neoplasia

A
  • Characterized by estrogen and progesterone receptor positive ovarian-like sub-epithelial stroma
  • Classified in benign mucinous cystadenomas, borderline mucinous cystic neoplasms (MCNs), and mucinous cystadenocarcinomas (MCACs).

Explain pseudopapillary neoplasia

A
  • Occur mostly, but not exclusively, in young women
  • The morphology is highly variable with cystic and solid parts.
