How does light intensity affect transpiration?
A
When it is dark no photosynthesis is happening so the stomata close. Little transpiration happens at night

How does temperature affect transpiration?
A
When warm, water particles have more kinetic energy so they evaporate from surface of leaf faster, this increases water potential gradient so transpiration rate is increased

How does humidity affect transpiration?
A
In humid environments the water potential gradient is reduced so rate of transpiration decreases.

How does air movement affect transpiration?
A
Lots of wind blows water molecules away from stomata increasing water potential gradient, increasing transpiration rate.
