L2 - What did you, as the PM, do to agree the value of the instruction?

A

As a PM i facilitated negotiations. Chairing meetings with the contractor, consultant team and senior QS.

Reviewed the quotation with the M&E/Civils engineer. Got the size of the attenuation tank agreed as it needed to be ‘up-specced’ Had this reviewed by the M&E/Civils Engineer so it was fit for purpose.

This particular variation was tricky due to site logistics.

Reviewing the impact this variation would have on programme and procurement.

Presented the options to the client through the use of Powerpoint or simply an in person meeting.
