Q

What insight do we get into human nature when Javert takes the side of the influential citizen against the poor woman? Are such injustice still practiced today? Explain.

A

Javert is a perfectionism and knows that the influential citizen has more power, money, connections, etc. But one thing that Javert knows is that the Influential Citizen is more likely in the right which is the common sense as one looks likes a crack head and homeless person while the other one looks like a proper citizen.
