A

Have an unlocked stairwell door allowing a crossover through the floor from one stairwell to another. Maxium of 5 floors allowed before a crossover is in place.

A

A

Obtain keys.
Elevator should not be used below grade until area is determined safe.
Identify designated fire service elevators.
Large building may have banks of elevators low-mid-high rise, and use lowest bank of elevators where possible.
If elevators are going to be used, phase 1 firefighter control must be established.
