What is hormone sensative lipase?
A
HSL is activated by a fall in insulin.
Hydrolyzes triacylglycerols to yield fatty acid and glycerol.

What is Lipoprotein Lipase?
A
LPL is necessary for metabolism of chylomicrons and very low density lipoproteins (VLDL).
LPL releases free fatty acids from triacylglycerols in lipoproteins.
