Principle of Time Symmetry
Objects take the same amount of time to reach their greatest height from the point of upwards launch as they take to fall back to the point of launch.
Impulse-Momentum Theorem?
Simply the understanding that impulse is equal to the change in momentum because of its equation.
Law of Conservation of Linear Momentum?
The total linear momentum of an isolated system remains constant and is conserved. State this law at the beginning of every question asking for momentum.
Law of Conservation of Energy?
The total energy in a system cannot be created nor destroyed only transformed from one form to another.
Principle of Conservation of Mechanical Energy?
In the absence of air resistance or any external forces, the mechanical energy of an object is constant. Statement necessary at the start of every question: mechanical energy is conserved in an isolated system.
Work Energy Theorem?
The work done by a net force on an object is equal to the change in the Kinetic Energy of the object. Guess the equation, :)
Principle of Conservation of Charge?
The net charge of an isolated system remains constant during any physical process.
Coulomb’s Law?
Two point charges in free space exert forces on each other. That force of attraction or repulsion is directly proportional to the product of the charges and inversely proportional to the square of the distance between their canters.
Superposition Principle?
The net electric field produced at any point by a system of charges is equal to the vector sum of all individual fields produced by each charge at this point.
Ohm’s Law?
The current passing through a conductor is directly proportional to the potential difference across the conductor as long as temperature is kept constant.
