Q

What channels and videos should I study for competence?

A

The “smallish” channels, not the big ones. I need to identify what is it that they did well that got them views: content, quality, style, music, thumbnail

Q

Apart giving the viewer what they want, what should we do?

A

Give youtube what it wants in term of the algorithm, because no matter if your content is good, if youtube doesn’t promote it it won’t get views.

Why do you need to narrow down your niche?

A

Because if you vary your subjects, people with one interest won’t click on topics they don’t like, that will hurt your click-through rate and youtube won’t show you as much as it could
