Process where vibrating particles transfer energy to neighbouring particles

A
Transfered by heating to the thermal store of an object

A
Vibrate more and collide more, these collisions cause energy to be transfered between particles kinetic energy stores

Carries on untill energy is transfered to the other side of the object then it is usually transfered to the surroundings
