State the procedure for lighting a Bunsen burner?

A
  1. Connect the Bunsen burner to the gas tap with a piece of rubber tubing.
    2.Turn the collar to close the air-holes.
  2. Light a match. Hold the lighted match over the top of the barrel and turn on the gas tap with your free hand.
  3. Turn off the gas to put out the flame.
    5.Repeat steps 3 and 4 until you are familiar with the procedure of lighting a Bunsen burner.
