the universal Hindu law of cause and effect which holds a person responsible for his or her actions and effects.
What is Dharma?
Your calling from god ( varies for men and women)
What is Maya?
the cosmic illusion that we are separate from other things we believe our life and interests are more important or more real than others
What is samsara?
trying to escape the reincarnation cycle
What is Moksha?
the freedom of the soul to enter into a state of divine bliss with the Supreme Being. Moksha is achieved through meditation, achieving one’s dharma, detaching from the material world, and attaining a divine understanding.
What is Kama?
defined as desire, longing and pleasure, of which sexual pleasure is considered essential for the well-being of an individual.
What is Artha?
the pursuit of wealth or material advantage is one of life’s four traditional aims. signifies “means of life”, activities and resources that enables one to be in a state one urges to be in.
What is Brahman?
Brahman is related to the Hindu concept of atman, the soul or self, in that each person is connected to the brahman, the embodiment of the universe and force in all things.
What is Atman?
Self, a particular individual personality vs self= eternal, impersonal, infinite being.
