How do you administer eye drops?
-Wash hands with soap and water. Remove contacts if applicable
-While tilting your head back, pull down the lower lid of your eye with your index finger to form a pocket
-Hold the dropper (tip down) with the other hand, as close to the eye as possible without touching it

How long should you keep your eyes closed after administering eye ointment?
Blink gently and leave closed for 1-2 minutes

5 minutes if same med
5-10 if different med

-Loss of central vision due to abnormal growth of new blood vessels
