Social cohesion
Bonds or glue that brings people together and integrate them into a united society
Social mobility
Education provides people with means to improve their lives and life chances. For example changing/improving social class
Social solidarity
Individuals must feel part of a community other wise everyone would pursue their own selfish desires
Specialist skills
Students learn skills and principles that facilitate them working on an assembly line. EVIDENCE: citizenship and PSHE = compulsory, helps pupils appreciate shared values and it being fundamental for the contemporary workplace

When production is broken down into a number of small specalised tasks to improve efficiency

Rules and values that give priority to personal relationships
