What should you do if you encounter icing

A
  1. Pitot heat
  2. Turn back or change altitude to where there is less ice
  3. Cabin heat - full, apply defroster outlets
  4. Change the throttle position to obtain maximum RPM

An unexplained loss in engine speed could be caused by ice
blocking the air intake filter
