Lots of companies = higher income, cultural repertoire, huge range of genres. They are horizontally integrated so they can focus more on distribution as they have a higher budget: more money to advertise.

A multimedia conglomerate, vertically integrated (p,d,e). Allows them to control all elements of the film which is cheaper as they own the subsidiaries. Also horizontally integrated as they work in all sectors.

Cross-platform promotion. E.g: soundtracks, mini-movies, TV series, Christmas specials all promote eachother (synergy). Pre-established fanbase, good reputation and cultural repertoire.
