Q

What is the purpose of the second ideation?

A

It Allows exploring further a given problem in a different way than in the first ideation, delivering innovative proposals. Disruptive innovation can happen at this point it also
considers the project from a wider perspective. It also reveals the mental model associated with this new perspective for the product or service for the workshop participants. The second ideation will ensure that the corrections are sustainable.

Stakeholders, design team members, external users - all in equal parts and 6-24 participats (split into 3-4 person team)

22
Q

What is the Crazy 8 Activity?

A

This creative and straightforward activity allows all participants to express and explore many of their ideas around a subject. Each participant will individually sketch eight (8) ideas in eight (8) minutes. It is a typical brainstorming technique, quickly delivering many ideas in a few broad strokes.

23
Q

What is the goal of the Crazy 8 activity?

A

Come up with a lot of ideas in a very short amount of time

24

Futures Thinking is a structured way to consider the long-term perspective around an experience along with the methods and approaches used to do so.

26
Q

What is the goal of Futres thinking?

A

To validate mental models of users in the face of an expected long term innovation

A

When your organization needs strategic foresight about an offer. Also, when the team needs to explore a new solution space (reframing in the short term, seeking radical or disruptive innovation)

28
Q

What supplies are needed for Futures thinking activity?

A

A well-structured foresight primer worksheet in three parts: sheet 1 analyses the past, sheet 2 analyses the present, sheet 3 projects into the future.

29
Q

What are the 3 parts of the Futures thinking activitiy?

A

Thinking about the future, structure activities in three parts: first, recalling past milestones and drivers related to the topic of study; second, list present trends; third, these lead to **futures ** scenarios (are the scenarios in continuation, in transformation, finding a new equilibrium, or collapsing?)
