may retreat or deny
30% have issues resposning to diagnosis

anxiety levels increace with the number of chronic conditions they have

also get depression 20% will have it, same if have more than one conditino then more liekly to get depressed.

3 phases of formation
initiation/ honeymoon- define the new behaviour and the context in which is will be practiced.

learning- repeated in chosen context to strengthen the context behaviour association

stabililty- habit is formaed and strength has plateaued, persists over time with minimal effort.
