how to reduce chance of oral cancer

A
  1. quiting smoking = benefits in 1-4 years and after 20 years same risk as a never smoking patient
  2. quiting heavy alcohol consumption = no difference in risk until 20 years later
  3. diet = more fruit and veg = half the risk
