Q

Q

look at ct from insendi if u dont get it what may happen to ventricle on the side of the brian where theres a bleed

16
Q

what is the treatment for this spontaneous intracerebellar bleed?

A

manage the hypertension. So this doesn’t happen again.

Sometimes the surgeons might go in and try to remove blood.
(very unlikely in this particular case because it really is at the core of the cerebellum, just above the brain stem.= not very easy to approach for the neurosurgeons without causing more damage.)

17
Q

this lady with the acute bleed had forgotten to take her antihypertensive meds. thats common. why? what does this mean for docs?

A

bc they dont associate the med with a specific sympotm- low motivation and actually may have side effects- even less motivation, docs need to make sure patients are taking them, let them know risks ect.
